This time my blood donation income goes to Passarani‘s album on Offen Music, the label runned by Salon Des Amateurs alumni Vladimir Ivkovic. Marco Passarani is the Italian producer, who is since early 90’s in the scene (check his briliant 2xLP “22nd Century” on Generator Records), whom i discovered just in year 2005. Passarini surprised positively beeing part of Tiger&Woods and bringing out his new album since many years on Offen Music. But the biggest affect was achieved by convincing me, that quite exhausted house strain can still sound good and modern. Artist himself about the eight-track double-LP: “W.O.W. is like my zen garden of ideas. Probably not definitive, and it will never be, ’cause time will bring changes…” (Source: Resident Advisor).
